Shades of dark

I think one of the most difficult things for a person to do is 'Self Expression'!

Q. How does a person convey the real him/ her to another person?

A. Behaviour, feelings, attitude, the way a person talks, the use of ones hands while speaking, the way a person walks, the way a person writes, the way a person looks at another person, the way a person smiles, the way a person dresses, the way a person smells, the way a person cries, the way a person reacts to differant situations...

I recently had a very interesting experiance with a 17 year old! I snubbed her with the oldest line an older person could use in his/ her defence.

"Grow up!" I said. Hehehe I look at this as the ultimate defence when I've lost focus or the urge to argue! It's the oldest trick in the book and quite frankly if it were a physical move I would class it a FOUL!

For this I am truely sorry Sahar! I didn't mean to stoop to the lowest levels of 'English grammer'. I completely understand what you ment and I guess I was MAD not to see your gesture of friendship. I'm a much better person in real life! Lets be friends?

Anyways coming back to the various faces of a person's self expression. Here is a little something I picked up:

"Raat yoon dil mein teree khowee howee yaad aaey,
Jaisay weraanay mein chupkay say bahaar aa jaaey,
Jaisay sehraaoon mein holay say chalay baad-e-naseem,
Jaisay beemaar ko bay-wajah qaraar aa jaaeey"

...a quote by Faiz Ahmed Faiz

The above is also the title song of the old pakistani drama 'Dhoop Kinaray'. The guitar work is so simple yet effective and its amazing how Nayyara Noor's voice is so...

Ok ok now I'm not all that soft pleeeeease! Dekhaway per mut jaooo, upni akal lugaoooo! Sprite! The official drink of Patch & Balli (after Seeraaj key solaymani chai!)

Ahmed - sahar isnt 17, shes 18.
I dont think she'll forgive you as easily, but you can try!!

But I loved your Answer to how you know another person. I'm a psychology major, and to me you just listed majority of the stuff we talk about!

Oh Sahar will 'NEVER' forgive him :P

And 'grow up' - it's funny the amount of offence it holds.

And it's funny how much of a compliment it can be too.
